Girls Are Awesome’s very own Head of Strategic Partnerships, Thandi Dyani, is joining an amazing panel this coming Thursday to discuss JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion), and we wanted to pass along the event info for you to both join, and share with your networks! This conversation couldn’t come at a better time, as we observe the UN’s International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Knowledge is power, yes – but implementing knowledge is strength in action! So let’s mark Thursday, March 25th in our calendars and hop online to hear some of the smartest women in the room discuss the ways to make change in our workplaces and networks!

diversity | equity | inclusion

“The need for more just societies and creating equitable and inclusive spaces is very high on the agenda for me personally and in my general work – both digitally, in our workspaces and relationships, in the private sector, public sector and in philanthropy. It’s also a global demand from our stakeholders, younger gens, our next employees and a need in our value chains,” Thandi Dyani says.

“It’s something consumers want to hear about, and they’ll react if a company or brand is not speaking openly about how they work with justice, equity, diversity and inclusion,” she continues. “Some may call it ‘cancel culture’, but I like to think it’s a matter of reacting to injustices – and it’s not to be taken lightly when future-proofing businesses or sectors. I happily see more and more interest in learning about this important topic & will be moderating a packed hour on the 25th with B Corp Benelux Pro inclusion Anti Racism Working Group alongside Ellonda L. Williams, Ed.D. and Dr. Marcia Goddard.”

Here’s everything you need to know about the event:
