Big day in the Girls Are Awesome office, y’all…! We got to sit down with upcoming director Patricia Bbaale Bandak, who came to Denmark at two years old from Uganda. Her latest film, “Villa Villekulla”, which was shortlisted for an Ekko Award among the best documentaries of 2020, tells her story through conversations among the eight siblings in her family. She’s a woman of incredible wisdom and talent, and we’re so grateful she took a few minutes to share her insights and experiences with us.
