Billie Eilish and Rosalía – “Lo Vas A Olvidar”

Okay, name a more iconic duo than Billie Eilish and Rosalía. The two genre-bending artists have paired up for the track “Lo Vas A Olvidar” which is featured in a forthcoming special episode of the HBO-show Euphoria. With their haunting harmonies they set a melancholic and dark mood for the track that almost feels like a picture painted with sounds. “Lo Vas A Olvidar” also marks Eilish’ debut in Spanish and she’s definitely passed the test.

Tash Sultana – “Sweet & Dandy”

Tash Sultana has gifted us with the final single before their forthcoming album Terra Firma drops on February 19th. We’re breathing for Sultana’s smooth and luscious soundscapes that “Sweet & Dandy” is another hypnotizing example of. Let it be February 19th very soon, please!

Tate McRae – “rubberband”

As Tate McRae‘s hit single “you broke me first” surpasses 630 million streams worldwide, her newest offering “rubberband” could easy be our next big addiction. The 17-year old singer, songwriter and dancer hailing from Calgary, Canada has created an infectious melancholic pop tune about overcoming a heartbreak and it’s once again proving why the bright new star is one to watch in 2021.

Bow Anderson – “New Wave”

Edinburgh-native Bow Anderson has released her 6-track debut EP New Wave oozing with modern R&B and soulful pop. The title track “New Wave” is a great example of Anderson’s way of making modern tunes sound timeless, and it only takes one catchy chorus for you to start singing along. And trust us, you will.

Deb Never – “Someone Else”

Once again challenging the standard genres, the Seattle-artist (now based in London) Deb Never‘s new track “Someone Else” offers you a dreamy escape. Floating in a lo-fi universe somewhere in the intersection of bedroom pop and trip hop, “Someone Else” is another manifestation of the rising artist’s shining talent.

Rachel Chinouriri – “Darker Place”

Hailing from Croydon, London, Rachel Chinouriri keeps showing us new ways to experiment with popular music and her tracks are always catchy like it’s something you’ve heard before, but playful in a way that keeps you surprised. “Darker Place” is proof of just that.

Ash Olsen – Wildin’

The Norwegian independent newcomer Ash Olsen became the talk of town with her energetic debut single “KITKAT” last year. Now the rising hip hop artist has returned with the more laidback “Wildin'” which will be featured on her upcoming EP. Keep an eye out for this one!

CHINAH – “Mysterious”

Danish electro pop trio CHINAH is gearing up for the release of a new album in 2021. “Mysterious” is the second taste of what to look forward to. “Mysterious” is another alluring dark pop track touching on the cliché of women’s attraction to mysterious men, as singer Fine Glinvad explains: “It’s about being drawn to that uncertainty – but also knowing it’s a myth. These opposite emotions – all at once.

ARY – “Moth To A Flame”

Norwegian alt pop star ARY is back with the brillant new single “Moth To A Flame”. After three years of silence, 2020 finally saw the nordic artist releasing two new singles and with “Moth To A Flame” we’re assured that 2021 will be accompanied by the abstract and innovative electro pop sound of ARY.

Anna Leone – “Once”

Stockholm native Anna Leone keeps releasing captivating and goosebump-provoking treasures in the shape of heartfelt and soulful songs. Proving a distinct songwriting-talent, “Once” is not your typical “the-weekend’s-here-Friday-playlist-track” but we’re not going partying anyways, so we might instead seek escape in the beautiful sound of Leone’s voice sneaking in on us.
