Yeah Girl: Hannah Bailey Paved Her Own Way To Her Dream Job

Scottish photographer Hannah Bailey is stubbornly dedicated to creating coverage for female skateboarders in the media.

Hannah Bailey is an award-winning Scottish photographer and all-around media guru who is paving the way for more coverage of talented ladies like herself. She spent eleven years in corporate PR, working in communications for ITV, Aegis and the BBC before saying “fuck it,” returning to artistic education at the Bristol School of Art. Following her passion, she developed her graphic design and photography skills, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Design for Visual Communications at the University of the Arts London.

Bailey’s badass skate photography is a testament to her artistic prowess and her eye for action and capturing movement. Beyond shooting dope female skaters, Hannah Bailey is also the founder of Neon Stash, a creative communications agency focused on action sports and adventure. Working in and around the UK, she works tirelessly to create coverage opportunities for female skateboarders in the media, and her impressive work has been featured in i_D, Vice, Skullcandy, Fubiz, Lomography, Dazed Digital, Women’s Fitness, Huck, not to mention this year’s Yeah Girl exhibition in LA (peep opening pics here)… Feast your eyes!
