Girls Are Awesome at The Growlery

Last Friday we popped our own cherry with our first international group art show at The Growlery in San Francisco. Our co-founder Nick and curator Jeroen Smeets were on the scene holding it down for Euroland.

With an aim to shine a light on but a few of the female creatives working in the skateboard industry, we teamed up with San Francisco artist residency and gallery The Growlery (currently managed by the loving hand of Mike Kershnar) to present 11 artists for 1 night only. The artists featured were Akvilė Magicdust (LT), Alexis Sablone (US), Ariel Wilson (US), Kristin Texeira (US), Lori D (US), Paulina Ho (US), Polly Bosworth (UK/DK), Sarah Huston (AU), Jess Wu-O (US), Poney-M Studio (FR) and Piper Lewine (US).

Check these shots of the gallery and some of the weird and wonderful people who stopped by.
