Girls Rock Camps began popping up in 2001, offering girls a fun, supportive, accessible environment to learn about music. Founded in 2014 by a group of musicians and music industry professionals, the GRCF (Girls Rock Camp Foundation) aims to engage the creative community and those who love music in supporting the Girls Rock Camp movement.
Their latest campaign to raise money for their grant drive revolves around selling prints of re-imagined album covers starring Girls Rock campers. Check out the Record Remake Project artwork where the campers stand in for David Bowie, Kendrick Lamar, Blondie, Janelle Monáe, Haim, Perfume Genius, U2, and Katy Perry.
