Girls Are Awesome and adidas Originals have partnered around a top to toe product collection and to increase the representation of women+.
Meet L.A. illustrator and digital creative Charlie McHarg. Charlie’s experimental videography work will transport you back to the ’90s.
In a time where performative creativity and production has proven itself to be an added stressor, Charlie’s wise words ring more true than ever.
“Just try everything. You don’t have to stay in one lane. […] make a mess, do stuff wrong and figure out the process that you like.”
As part of our global partnership with adidas Originals, we ventured to L.A. with the aim to increase female representation in the art scene. We were lucky enough to meet, hang out with, support and film this awesome crew of 5 humans, including Charlie McHarg. Just as we were planning the opening of their group show, our project was unfortunately hit by Covid-19, so we didn’t get to live out that part. Dammit! But we’re thrilled to have had the opportunity to capture some insights into the minds of these Los Angeles creators through these short video portraits.
